How to fix error 927 in Google Play Store Android


To fix Error 927 in Google Play Store the best method is to remove and add back your Google account from the settings. This is the error message: "app" could not be downloaded due to an error. (927). While this is an app installation error code, it may also appear while downloading or updating apps and Games. Some common apps affected by this bug include Whatsapp, Facebook, Viber, Skype, Hearthstone, Asphalt 8, Clash of Clans and so on.

First Method: Simple Cache clearing 

  1. Go to Settings >> Apps >> Select “All” 
  2. Scroll down from the list of All apps and select “Google Play Store” 
  3. Select “Clear Cache” and “Clear Data” 
  4. (optional) Go back to Settings >> Apps >> All >> Select “Google Service Framework” >> Clear Cache and Data” 
  5. Run Google Play Store, set it up and try to download your app or game. 

 Second Method: Removing/Re-adding Google account

This second method has been widely used to solve other popular Google Play Errors like RPC:S-5:AEC-0 and Android Error 963.
  1. Go to Settings >> Accounts >> Google 
  2. Select your primary Gmail account (that’s linked with Play Store) >> Press menu button on your device and Select “Remove account” 
  3. (optional Step) Go back to Settings >> Accounts >> Google >> Apps >> Select “Google Play Store”>> Clear Cache and Clear Data. (repeat this step to clear data for “Google service Framework”) 
  4. Again Go to Settings >> Accounts >> Google >>Select Add account >> Choose Google >> Existing >> Add back the Gmail account you removed in the second step 
  5. Open the Google Play Store and download your app or game
