How to repair broken rings and equipment in Dark Souls II?

While playing Dark Souls 2 yesterday, I accidentally stepped on some gooey acidic liquid inside a underground cave in the Shaded wood and then damaged some of my rings. Then I couldn’t figure out how to repair my ring of restoration, ring of blades and my Drangleic armor. Some of my rings, armor and weapons were partially damaged, and they were restored to 100% durability after resting at the bonfire but the fully damaged stuffs were still 0 durability. So how do you repair rings and other stuffs in Dark Souls 2?

Blacksmith's Workshop at Majula
I already knew the Blacksmith in Majula did all the repairing so I traveled there. Then I talked to the Blacksmith and chose the repair items option. I was a little surprised to see that the fully damaged rings cost insanely high to repair. I think the ring of restoration required over 15000 souls to repair- it was the most expensive repair so I decided to leave it as it because I could use the souls to level up plus the ring of restoration is not much use because by the time you've reached the Shaded Wood area, you probably have 5+ Estus Flask and some Lifegems, which should easily get you through the remaining levels.
Be careful about the elements that damage your items. As soon as you get the “item damaged” make sure to use some repair powder or to go to a nearby bonfire so that you can restore fully durability before your item gets totally wrecked
